Huntington Stainless Steel bell jar chambers feature a single viewport, lifting lug for easy transportability and an O-ring seal at the base for mounting to baseplate or base well of your choice. Huntington has designed an ultra-high vacuum Universal Vacuum Chamber suitable for a variety of research experiments including surface science. The chamber is made from 304 stainless steel and has a 14 inch nominal diameter with a number of ports for mounting instrumentation, sample transfer, viewports, roughing and UHV pumps.

"Huntington offers Systems Integration with mobile and stationary stands that include all the basic components needed to operate a high vacuum system. Excellent for use in educational environments providing students and academicians the ability to perform vacuum experiments in the lab in a cost effective manner. The motorized lifting arm allows the chamber to be raised and held in the open position, then a new experiment is placed on the base. Replace the seal, lower the chamber and retighten. A single stand can accommodate many hundreds of experiments over it’s lifetime. Another advantage to using a portable stand would be the quick turn-around for an experimenter to perform a test without waiting for time reserved on the main facility chamber. This would free up valuable resources and allow for a more efficient work flow."

Huntington’s Feedthrough Collars are made of 304 Stainles Steel and feature a choice of “L-gasket” or O-ring style base flanges with a compliment of VAC-U-FLANGE® (CF) or ISO-KF port flanges. As with most of our products custom sizes or configurations are available.

Stainless Steel Baseplates and Base Wells for Vacuum Chambers Used primarily with Bell Jar Chambers, Huntington’s Baseplates and Basewells help to complete a chamber project based on the time-tested Bell Jar Chamber style. Standard designs are shown below or request a custom design. Add a Gate Valve or one of our fast-acting Pneumatic Butterfly valves to the pump port to maintain the envelope pressure. Due to shipping restrictions all Baseplates & Basewells are available by quote only.
